The Anya Hindmarch AW14 LFW Show, Counter Culture

It may not be the most obvious way to present a fashion show off the latest accessories collection, but Anya Hindmarch is coming up with a great new idea how to show her new bags of her great design. Her show took place in Westminster and were draped in black fabric and three huge white orbs hung above the catwalk. The show began normally with models striding the catwalk - colourful python totes, tasselled clutches, leather frame bags - with your next season bags tucked under their arms. The Bags descended on wires from the ceiling, lowered to the catwalk and raised back up before another set made their way down. Anya made elegant and chic bags, with a bit of humour thrown in for good measure - clutches that looked like boxes of Swan matches, pouches printed with planets and a shopping bag emblazoned with a yellow smiley face and the slogan, 'Have A Nice Day'. But it was really all about the spectacle.
