Maison KELMD MAGAZINE honores Karl Lagerfeld work for House of FENDI

In 1965, the Fendi sisters undertook the first time the German fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld as a designer, who was at the time a rising star at the Paris fashion scene and for Fendi, the world-famous, inverted FF logo (the so-called 'double-F' symbol or 'Zucca' logo) created.

   The logo has quickly become an intrnational symbol and can be found on a variety of Fendi products, including handbags, walltes and luggage, but also on clothing.

These pieces of handcrafted 'Haute Fourrure' (German 'Luxury fur fashion ", in reference to haute couture), however, were so expensive that the Fendi sisters decided in the same year his own ready-to-wear collection for fur fashion to create.

 Lagerfeld is still employed by Fendi as a fashion designer. In 1969 Fendi unveiled a fur collection at Palazzo Pitti in Florence.
